Their heavy footsteps
don't seem to follow the music
at all.
The higher piano notes
encourage them,
push them,
to try harder.
The thick snowflakes
could never achieve
a light sprinkling
of icing sugar.
(was listening to Dance of the Sugarplum fairies and it seemed to juxtapose the snow falling outside.)
